Rain? Just added to the vibe!

While clouds threatened to spoil the fun, the crowd showed what true dedication means. Raincoats, umbrellas, and even dancing in the rain – nothing stopped fans from waiting in front of the stage and enjoying the performance of the iconic musician. No wonder, Billy immediately lifted the atmosphere with the hit “Still Dancing”.

Hits that took us back to rock’s golden days

The setlist was a blast! From “Cradle of Love”, through “Flash of Fantasy”, “77”, “Eyes Without a Face”, to “Rebel Yell” and “Dancing with Myself” – every hit sparked an explosion of excitement. And let’s not forget “Too Much Fun”, “Hot in the City”, and “White Wedding” – it felt like time stopped, and Kalemegdan turned into a rock temple.

The crew on stage and local punk rock as the opening act

Billy wasn’t alone – he introduced his longtime collaborator, guitarist Steve Stevens, and the rest of the band, who together created a spectacle. To warm up the crowd, local punk rock band Goblini delivered an energetic set, prepping everyone for the main star of the night.

The crowd was on their feet till the end

At the end of the concert, the musicians were rewarded with loud applause and ovations. No surprise – who wouldn’t want to be part of such a spectacle? Billy Idol showed that a true rock star doesn’t age, but only gets better with time.

The bottom line?

If you missed this concert, you really missed something special. Rain, wind, rock classics, and punk energy – all in one place, in the heart of Belgrade. And if you were there, you surely have a story to tell. Or maybe a funny umbrella moment? Don’t be shy, share it in the comments – who knows, your story might become the next hit!

In a world where concerts often get canceled due to bad weather, Billy Idol and the crowd proved that true music and passion know no barriers. Kalemegdan was the place where rock lived fully that night. And that’s what really sticks with you!
