Arrested for Blackmail: Intimate Photos Used as Weapon for 3 Euros!

Blackmailers Caught Red-Handed: Intimate Photos for Just 3 Euros!

Have you ever thought someone might threaten to post your most private photos? Well, in Niš, Serbia, a story unfolded that sounds like a bad movie but is all too real.

Two men, D.B. (32) and S.S. (31), were arrested on suspicion of blackmailing a 31-year-old woman. Their price? Just 3 euros! Yes, you read that right — three euros for silence and keeping her intimate photos off the internet.

According to the police, D.B. threatened the woman that he would post her intimate images online unless she handed over the money. But the police acted fast. Yesterday afternoon in Niš, they stopped S.S. as he was collecting the money from the woman, and they found a flash drive containing the compromising content on him.

By order of the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Niš, the suspects were detained for 48 hours and will be brought before the prosecutor with criminal charges for committing the crime of blackmail.

This story is yet another alarming example of how far some people will go to exploit trust and privacy for a quick buck. Just 3 euros to ruin someone’s life? That’s not just shameful — it’s criminal!

Why does this matter?

In the digital age, where images and information spread at lightning speed, such blackmail cases are becoming more common. People need to be aware of the dangers and know that institutions like the Niš police respond quickly and effectively.

But is 3 euros really worth someone’s suffering? And how many cases like this go unnoticed? This is a call for everyone to be cautious and not let their privacy be abused.

What do you think? Is the punishment for such threats enough? Or should there be tougher measures? Share your thoughts because this isn’t just a story from Niš — it’s a problem that could affect any of us.

And hey, if someone offers you 3 euros for your silence, maybe it’s time to ask who the real loser in this game is.
