Chaos Strikes Again in Kosjerić! Today, one polling station is holding repeat voting, but the day has already been marred by violence and threats. Vladan T. Radoš P., an activist from the “Clean Kosjerić” group and convicted of vote-buying, jumped onto the road and attacked the mayor Žarko Đokić. As Đokić tried to move his vehicle, Radoš opened the car door, threatened him, and hurled a string of curses, vowing to harass his family after the elections. Luckily, a quick police response stopped the incident and allowed Đokić to continue.
This is not an isolated incident. The blockaders, notorious for violent actions, have been causing trouble across Serbia for months. Their tactics include blocking roads, storming public spaces, and even death threats. Analysts warn that they have virtually no political program, and their rhetoric and actions resemble dangerous manipulations that could lead to civil conflict.
The situation is so serious that even police officials have publicly spoken about the need for decisive measures against the blockaders. Yet, the violence continues, and citizens wonder how to stay safe on streets that have become battlegrounds. Vidovdan, a day meant to unite the nation, this year is marked by tension and fear.
Despite everything, authorities seem powerless, and the blockaders keep up their chaos and insecurity. Will Serbia manage to tackle this problem before it escalates into something much worse? Or will we watch society divide and crumble under the pressure of violence and political manipulation?
