Belgrade Blockades Won’t Stop: City in Chaos, Citizens Left Without Transport!
Belgrade has been in chaos for days due to violent blockades created by so-called “blockaders.” These people, who claim to fight for justice, are actually tormenting ordinary Serbian citizens and preventing them from living normal lives. Bus, tram, and trolleybus drivers wake up early, ready to take people to work, but because of the blockades, public transport is not running.
A real traffic collapse has occurred in New Belgrade, and because of these blockades, hardworking people of Serbia are suffering as they cannot get to their workplaces. Footage from the scene shows chaotic scenes and the anger of citizens left without transport.
Another scandalous scene was recorded in Kikinda, where blockaders are pushing the boundaries of violence against citizens. People are slowly losing patience, and one mother sharply reacted on social media due to the problems her children face because of the blockades.
Opposition media claim that foreign nationals, including Americans, are participating in the violent blockades, which further complicates the situation. On the other hand, anti-Serbian portals like N1 continue spreading lies and inciting citizens to violence.
The President of the Serbian Progressive Party, Miloš Vučević, strongly condemned the attack on journalist Anja Vesović, emphasizing that attacks on journalists are cowardly and a shame for Serbia. Vučević called on the competent authorities to hold the perpetrators accountable according to the law and appealed to political and social actors to show restraint and respect basic values, including media freedom and human dignity.
This blockade situation shows how violence and chaos can disrupt the everyday lives of ordinary people. While blockaders continue their actions, Serbian citizens remain without basic services like public transport and suffer consequences that no one deserves.
If you think this is just another political game, think about how many people are trapped in their own city, how many children are deprived of school, and workers of their jobs. What do you think about these blockades? Are they heroes or hooligans? Drop a comment, let the people’s voice be heard!
