Bombing of Buddhist Temple in Myanmar: The War That Never Ends

In the heart of Myanmar, in the village of Lin Lu, another horrific attack has shaken the world. Around 30 people were injured, with 10 in critical condition, after a jet dropped a bomb on a Buddhist monastery. To make matters worse, in recent weeks, people from nearby villages had taken refuge in this monastery to escape ground attacks, but it wasn’t enough. The Myanmar military claims it only targets legitimate war objectives and accuses resistance forces of terrorism, but the civil war that began in February 2021, when the military violently seized power, shows no signs of stopping. Peaceful protests were brutally crushed, opponents of the military took up arms, and the military responds with deadly airstrikes that civilians cannot defend against.

This conflict is not just another distant war story — it’s a tragedy unfolding before our eyes, with hundreds of innocent civilians caught in a deadly spiral of violence. How can the world turn a blind eye while such things happen? Can anyone hope for peace when bombs are dropped on places of worship and people flee their homes? If you have thoughts on this chaos, feel free to share — maybe it’s time for voices to be louder than ever.
