A ten-year-old resident of the “Moša Pijade” Home for Children and Youth in Belgrade was beaten while visiting his mother in Zemun Polje. Zoran Milačić, the director of the Center for the Protection of Children and Youth, confirmed that the incident occurred six days ago. The boy was attacked after having an argument with someone in the neighborhood. The police and the Center for Social Work have been notified. The boy sustained bruises but no serious physical injuries. The police are investigating the case.
