Europe and Thompson: Why Is Everyone Silent About the Biggest Fascist Rally in 80 Years?

Can you believe it? In the heart of Europe, in Zagreb, the largest fascist gathering in the last 80 years took place, and the entire continent is pretending nothing happened! Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabić is stunned that eight days have passed since Marko Perković Thompson’s concert, and there has been zero serious reaction from the European Union.

Half of Croatia on Its Feet, Europe Is Silent

About half a million people attended the concert — that’s nearly one-fifth of Croatia’s population of around three million. The crowd chanted “Za dom spremni” — a salute tied to fascist ideology and war crimes from World War II. Yet, European institutions remain silent. Brnabić points out that no one from Serbia’s previous governments wrote to the European Parliament or demanded condemnation of such events.

Double Standards and Ignoring Serbian Victims

Brnabić emphasizes that when it comes to Serbian victims, Europe shows no interest. No one has asked European political parties to speak out on this event, while Serbian victims are ignored. This is a clear example of double standards and selective attention by European institutions toward different peoples and events.

Why Is Europe Not Reacting?

It’s obvious Europe doesn’t want to face this problem. Is it political correctness, fear of destabilizing the region, or sheer ignorance? Brnabić makes it clear this is unacceptable and such events must not be ignored.

What Can Serbia Do?

Brnabić calls for responsibility and action. Serbia must speak up and not allow these things to be forgotten or covered up. If Europe won’t act, Serbia must take the initiative to protect its interests and dignity.

Conclusion: Is Europe Blind or Deaf?

While half a million people in Zagreb celebrate fascist ideology, Europe pretends not to see or hear. This is not just a Croatian or Serbian problem; it’s a problem for the entire continent. If Europe doesn’t react now, what awaits us tomorrow?

So, what do you think? Is Europe really blind or just pretending? Drop your thoughts below, share your take, and don’t let history repeat itself in silence!
