In the heart of Koprivnica, at the Ottova kućica animal shelter, there are two special dogs – brothers Lolek and Bolek. These charming nine-month-old puppies have spent almost their entire childhood behind bars, waiting for someone to give them love and freedom.
Lolek, the lighter and gentler brother, weighs 10 kilograms and stands about 42 cm tall. The world is unknown to him, but his curiosity and desire for freedom are slowly overcoming his fear. He took his first steps out of the enclosure with the support of a dog named Anuk and immediately showed his playful side. Lolek has never had the chance to explore the world, so he needs a lot of patience and love to develop fully. His calm and gentle temperament will surely win over anyone who gives him a chance. Every outing and every touch helps Lolek progress, and once he builds trust, he will become the most loyal friend.
Bolek, a bit bigger and darker than his brother, weighs 12.5 kg and is 45 cm tall. From the beginning, he was a bit more timid, but in a calm environment, he shows his curiosity and soft heart. During walks, he shows stability, neither pulling away nor rushing, but staying close to the person, carefully observing. Bolek’s shyness is not a flaw but a sign of his sensitive nature, seeking a patient person. He may not be the first to run to the door, but his eyes hide a deep desire to be noticed and given a chance. In a warm and safe home, Bolek will turn into a cheerful and devoted friend.
Both currently reside at Ottova kućica, waiting for their people. They are vaccinated and neutered, ready for a new start.
