The Budućnost women’s handball team easily secured a new double crown by winning the playoff for the championship title of the First Women’s League of Montenegro. This marks Budućnost’s 18th Montenegrin championship title and a total of 36 titles counting the periods of SFRY, Yugoslavia, and the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro. The trophy was presented to captain Ivona Pavićević by the president of the Handball Federation of Montenegro, Petar Kapisoda.
