Beijing has imposed tariffs on American products in response to the 10% duties that the Trump administration levied on Chinese imports. The Chinese Ministry of Finance announced that these measures will include 15% tariffs on certain types of coal and liquefied natural gas, as well as 10% on crude oil and agricultural machinery. These tariffs will take effect on February 10. China has also announced an investigation against Google and the control of exports of certain minerals.
