Collaboration between University of Montenegro and UC Berkeley SkyDeck Accelerator

The Rector of the University of Montenegro, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Božović, met with Mr. George Panagiotakopoulos, Director of European Global Expansion of the SkyDeck Accelerator at the University of California, UC Berkeley. The meeting focused on exploring collaboration opportunities between the University of Montenegro and one of the world’s leading university startup accelerators. Discussions included innovation, startup support, international knowledge exchange, and involving young Montenegrin entrepreneurs in global flows. It was emphasized that the University of Montenegro, due to its size and flexibility, can quickly adapt and develop as a niche innovation center in the region. The importance of integrating research resources with the market through the Montenegro Science and Technology Park was also highlighted.
