Serbia’s divisions deepened after democratization, not unity.

Čedomir Antić, a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, criticizes the state of affairs in Serbia following democratization, highlighting the deepening of social divisions, particularly class divisions. He mentions that students use blockades instead of democratic methods to express dissatisfaction and points to the failure of civic education modeled after the European Union. Antić emphasizes that constitutional questions remain unresolved and questions the efficiency of the current system. He also criticizes student protests as undemocratic and expresses concern over their unclear and unfeasible demands.
