Commemoration of Police Day in Kragujevac

Police Day in Kragujevac was marked by a series of events aimed at bringing the police work closer to the citizens. Seventy-seven new police officers and twelve firefighters-rescuers solemnly took the oath in the presence of city, military, and police representatives. Mayor Nikola Dašić and Police Department Chief Vladimir Šebek emphasized the importance of the police profession, the responsibility, and courage it entails. A tribute was also paid to fallen police officers. The events included exhibitions and presentations, where the youngest citizens had the opportunity to learn about the police profession.
