Cooling and Temperature Drop in Belgrade

According to meteorologist Nedeljko Todorović, Belgrade is expecting a cooling that will bring a temperature drop of eight to nine degrees Celsius. Although the beginning of June was warm with temperatures above 30 degrees, the cooling will arrive tonight between 9 and 10 PM with the arrival of cold air. June will be above average in temperature, around 20.5 to 21 degrees, and summer will have a third of the days with temperatures above 30 degrees. The hottest part of summer is expected at the end of July and beginning of August. The cooling will last two days, after which temperatures will slightly rise. Short-term rain and thunderstorms are also expected after June 17. The meteorologist pointed out frequent flash floods due to heavy downpours and the need for longer soil soaking.

Political Perspectives:

Left: Left-leaning sources emphasize the impact of climate change on increasing temperatures and the importance of preparing for extreme weather events such as heatwaves and flash floods. They highlight the need for sustainable urban planning and environmental policies to mitigate these effects.

Center: Center-leaning sources focus on the factual weather forecast, providing detailed information about temperature changes, expected rain, and the seasonal weather patterns. They present the meteorologist’s statements objectively without much political framing.

Right: Right-leaning sources may emphasize the normalcy of seasonal weather variations and caution against alarmism. They might highlight the resilience of local infrastructure and the importance of individual preparedness rather than government intervention.
