Argentina leaves WHO following Trump’s decision.

Argentina is withdrawing from the World Health Organization (WHO) after President Javier Milei made the decision in line with former U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order to withdraw the U.S. from the organization. Milei cited “deep differences” regarding the WHO’s management of health issues, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, and criticized the WHO’s lack of independence from the political influence of other countries. Trump also criticized the WHO for its handling of the pandemic and high financial demands.
