Court ruled child’s health overrules parents’ beliefs.

A court in Italy rejected a request from parents for their two-year-old son to receive blood only from unvaccinated donors during surgery. The ruling emphasized that the child’s rights take precedence over the parents’ religious beliefs. The hospital denied the request due to the inability to determine the vaccination status of donors and disagreement with international protocols. The court also concluded that there is no scientific evidence of harm from “spike” proteins in vaccines and that separating blood based on vaccination status could harm the child. The surgery was successfully performed after the court appointed a temporary guardian.
