Red Star and Serbian Volleyball Clubs Battle for European Glory!

Get ready, volleyball fans! Red Star and several other Serbian clubs are gearing up for a fierce fight in the Challenge Cup! The draw decided that Red Star’s women’s team will play the round of 32 against the winner of the two-legged tie between Belgium’s Chapel Le Erlimon and Faroe Islands’ Torshavn. The first match is set for November 26 away, with the return leg in Belgrade on December 3.

But wait, there’s more! The women’s team from Srem in Sremska Mitrovica also enters the fray, facing the winner of the BVA Cup, with matches on October 29 and November 5. In the men’s competition, Red Star and Karađorđe from Topola also start in the Challenge Cup, with first-round matches on November 12 and 19. Red Star will face Ribola Kaštela, while Karađorđe takes on Krka from Novo Mesto.

In the CEV Cup, UB’s women will play against France’s Mulhouse, and Tent will face the loser of the duel between Olympiacos and Ateriks Beverna. The only Serbian men’s club in the CEV Cup is Vojvodina, who will play Turkey’s Alanya in the round of 32.
