Serbia’s culture budget is up 15%, with 400 million dinars.

The Ministry of Culture of Serbia has a budget that is 15% larger this year, and through the “Cities in Focus” competition, 400 million dinars will be allocated to local governments, excluding Belgrade and Novi Sad. The funds will be used for the development and adaptation of cultural infrastructure in municipalities and cities. Projects include the Cyrillic Museum in Rača, the Glassmaking Museum in Paraćin, and the House of the Battle of Kolubara in Mionica. Additionally, cultural center facilities are being renovated in Kosjerić and Despotovac. Work is also underway on projects of national importance.
