Dacic Claims: No Protests in Serbia, Everything Runs Smoothly!
Did you wonder this morning where all those protests everyone’s been talking about disappeared to? Well, Ivica Dacic, Serbia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, has the answer – in Serbia and Belgrade, there have been no blockades since this morning, everything is running like a boring, normal day. The police are on top of their game and don’t want any conflicts, and Dacic reminds us that we are all part of the same nation, just some in uniform and others not.
Protests? Nope, none!
Dacic clearly stated there are no clashes with the police, even though some protest participants in Užice were detained for blockades. He asks – did they break the police cordon? Did they attack the police? No. So why make a fuss? Everyone can protest as much as they want, but no one can say they’re innocent if they hit a police officer. The police have clear rules – they only react if attacked, and any abuse of power will be punished.
Fires Burning Like Never Before
But it’s not all calm. Dacic warned about a large number of fires across Serbia, mostly caused by human factors – burning stubble, irresponsible behavior, and even wind that fanned the flames. Firefighters, police, volunteer fire brigades, citizens, and the army are all engaged in fighting the fires, using all available resources, including helicopters.
Weather conditions made the situation worse – temperatures were high, winds were blowing, and in some parts of the country, there were stormy winds. All this created a real hell for firefighters who gave their all to help the people.
What Does This Tell Us?
Dacic reminds us the situation is serious but under control. Police and firefighters are doing their job, and citizens should follow the rules and avoid provoking conflicts. If you thought Serbia was in chaos, think again – everything is functioning normally, at least according to the minister.
And you? Do you really believe it’s that calm? Or is there something going on behind the scenes that they’re not telling us? Drop a comment, share your thoughts, or just crack a joke – because who doesn’t love a little drama in life?
