Bloody Blow in the Kursk Region!
Have you heard of Mikhail Gudkov? No? Maybe because he was the Deputy Supreme Commander of the Russian Navy and the commander of the separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet. The Governor of Primorye, Oleg Kozhemyako, confirmed that Gudkov died alongside his comrades. Ukrainian media claim he was liquidated in an attack by Ukrainian armed forces on a command post in the Korenev area near the border. Several officers, including Gudkov, were reportedly hit in a missile strike.
This Major General was a true Hero of Russia, personally promoted by Vladimir Putin, and now he’s just another number in the long list of casualties in the ongoing conflict. Ukrainian forces launched a missile strike on the marine brigade’s command post on July 2, killing at least 10 people, including high-ranking officers.
