When life throws the harshest challenge, an 11-year-old hero steps up! Dino, the son of Tihana Šorman, a brave woman fighting for every breath after a severe car accident, has decided to sell plush toys in Viljevo near Donji Miholjac. The goal? To raise over 10,000 euros for a device that will help his mom breathe easier and clear mucus from her lungs.
Tihana, a former employee of the Clinical Hospital Center Osijek, is now in palliative care, almost immobile, communicating only by blinking her eyes. Her mother Anita tirelessly cares for her 24/7, while Dino, a fifth grader, an excellent student and a talented accordion player, courageously takes on the role of a little hero.
The fundraising campaign is already underway, with many people donating 300 euros each, showing that humanity is not dead yet. Facebook groups and local communities are spreading the word, and similar actions might be organized throughout Valpovština.
This story is not just about money, but about love, struggle, and hope. Dino is not just selling plush toys; he is selling strength and faith that his mom will breathe easier again.
If your heart isn’t made of stone, maybe it’s time to get involved. Or at least leave a comment and support this little big hero. Who knows, maybe your words will be the ones to give someone their breath back!
