Dušan Vlahović and the Juventus Drama: Stay or Go?
Juventus is at the heart of a football drama, and the main star is our very own Dušan Vlahović! Although the Serbian striker reportedly told his teammates during the Club World Cup that he wants to stay at Juventus, former player Darko Kovačević thinks otherwise. He believes Vlahović should move on immediately and that staying at Juventus is not a smart move.
Why? Juventus reportedly wants to get rid of Vlahović, and new striker Jonathan David has already been brought in as the first-choice center forward for the next season. Despite being one of the highest-paid players in Serie A with a salary of around 12 million euros, there are many interested clubs, but few are willing to match his wage.
Darko Kovačević, who himself played for Juventus, says it’s not easy to leave such a club, but sometimes you have to take a risk to regain happiness and top-level football. He emphasizes that Vlahović must always be a starter, whether at Juventus or elsewhere.
Kovačević also compared Vlahović to Jonathan David and other top strikers, saying he would always choose Vlahović, even over Erling Haaland or Osimhen. That says a lot about the quality of our national team player.
Juventus is still balancing between wanting to keep Vlahović and the need to refresh their attack with new players. Whether the Serbian goal scorer stays or moves on remains to be seen, but the drama is guaranteed!
