Many leave Santorini due to earthquakes. Schools closed.

Thousands of residents are leaving the Greek island of Santorini due to increased seismic activity. In the last 48 hours, more than 300 earthquakes have been recorded, and experts warn that the tremors could last for weeks. Around 6,000 people have already left the island by ferry, and emergency flights are expected. Schools are closed, and authorities advise avoiding indoor gatherings, although Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis calls for calm. So far, no major damage has been reported, but preventive measures are being taken.
