As if nature didn’t have enough drama, in June the Philippines and Japan reminded us that earthquakes are still the main event on Asia’s stage! First, on June 24, a 6.3 magnitude quake struck east of the Philippine islands, with an epicenter just 10 kilometers deep. And let’s not forget, just three days earlier, on June 21, Japan felt a 6.0 magnitude quake on Hokkaido island, also with a 10-kilometer deep epicenter. No reports yet on damage or casualties, but it’s clear the earth is shaking like it’s at some wild party! Is this just the beginning or are more quakes coming?
