The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invested 807 million euros in Serbia last year, supporting 37 projects across all sectors of the economy. Nearly 500 million euros were allocated for the transition to a green economy, including renewable energy projects and the enhancement of ecological infrastructure. Among the investments are loans for the construction of a solar thermal power plant in Novi Sad and the improvement of the district heating system. The bank also provided financing for projects in the transport sector and the enhancement of national management programs.
