Erol Musk, the father of Elon Musk, supports a new “meme coin” called “MaskIt” to raise funds for the Musk Institute, focused on scientific research and innovation. He is leading the initiative together with his business partner Nathan Brown, independently of Elon Musk. Although Elon Musk has experience in the crypto industry, he has stated that he and his companies do not plan to issue cryptocurrencies.
