The medical staff at the Emergency Center is often called in from home to respond to urgent cases. The division into urgency zones – green, yellow, and red – helps in organizing and taking care of patients. Recently, 59 patients injured in a traffic accident near Umka were treated. The Director of the Emergency Center, Dr. Marko Ercegovac, explains that this facility is intended for managing massive injuries. In situations like a traffic accident, additional staff is called in from home.
