Belgrade was calm last night, say emergency services, but is that really a reason to celebrate or just cold statistics? There were a total of 122 emergency interventions overnight, with 22 occurring in public places. One minor traffic accident happened with no injuries, but medical referrals were issued. Compared to previous days, the number of interventions is high, but without serious incidents. A similar situation occurred on July 8, when three people were slightly injured in three accidents, with a total of 25 interventions, mostly in public places. Emergency services most often responded to chronic patients, fainting, high blood pressure, and asthma attacks. In Kragujevac, there were 44 interventions in the past 24 hours, with 12 on public places, where the most common reasons were fainting, injuries, and high blood pressure. Night shifts were especially busy, with 59 adult patients examined. Overall, emergency services are working at full capacity but without major incidents. Is this a sign that things are calming down or that people are still at risk? Share your thoughts, maybe it’s time to take urban health more seriously!
