Applications for enrollment in Belgrade kindergartens for 2025 have closed, and preliminary ranking lists have been published on the websites and notice boards of all 17 preschool institutions in Belgrade. Parents have the right to file complaints from June 9 to June 18, and complaints will be reviewed from June 19 to June 27. The city secretary for education and child protection, Aleksandra Čamagić, stated that new kindergartens are being built in Borča, Ovča, and Mladenovac, increasing capacity and ensuring that every child in Belgrade has a place in a kindergarten. She also announced that attendance in Belgrade kindergartens will be free next year, and that the majority of children in Belgrade attend kindergarten in accordance with European standards.
