Erdogan Tests New Turkish Electric Car: Togg T10f – Future or Just Another Illusion?

Looks like Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan decided to take a spin into the future — at least when it comes to cars! Erdogan tested the new model of the Turkish car brand Togg, the T10f, in Istanbul. But is this really the start of a revolution or just another political show?

The T10f is no ordinary car — it’s a fully electric fastback sedan with five doors, the second serial model from Togg after the T10x. It was first unveiled at the CES consumer electronics show in Las Vegas on January 9 this year, and Togg plans to produce a whopping one million vehicles across five different models by 2030!

Is that ambitious or unrealistic? The company already started mass production of its first model, the T10x, last year and began delivering it to customers. The T10f is the second in line, with a total of five models planned.

But let’s be real — how ready is the Turkish automotive industry to compete with giants like Tesla, Volkswagen, or even European manufacturers? Is this just Erdogan’s political move to show Turkey can join the green revolution, or is there a real chance for Togg to become a global player?

While Erdogan enjoys driving his new electric baby, we wonder — will this car really change the game or just remain another prototype in a sea of promises?

If you have thoughts on this, or maybe you’re already dreaming of driving the Togg T10f, drop a comment and tell us what you think! Maybe it’s time for Turkey to seriously join the electric car race, or maybe it’s just another political joyride with no real destination.
