Get ready for the musical event of the year! On Monday, July 21st, Kotor is hosting a concert that will blow your mind – “Eternal Rachmaninoff”! Taking place in the concert hall of the Vida Matjan school, as part of the prestigious international KotorArt festival, two top-tier artists will perform: cellist Dragan Đorđević, known as Suzuki, and renowned pianist Andrej Gugnin.
This concert is not just another event – it’s a journey through the most touching notes of Sergei Rachmaninoff, one of the greatest composers and pianists of the 20th century. The audience will enjoy his famous cello and piano sonata in G minor, Op. 19, as well as themes from Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute,” Beethoven’s Adagio Allegro, Op. 70, and works by Robert Schumann.
Đorđević, who has performed worldwide – from America to Korea, and is a professor at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, is known for his originality and passionate interpretations. Gugnin, winner of prestigious awards including first prize at the 2023 Dubai International Piano Competition, brings energy and virtuosity that will leave you breathless.
Tickets will soon be available on the Gigstix network, and thanks to a Mastercard partnership, you can get a 20% discount if you pay with a Mastercard. KotorArt and its partners not only bring top-notch art but also make it more accessible to everyone during the hot summer months.
