Kubilius isn’t joking. According to him, Russia might already have around five million drones ready for war. To defend itself, Europe must start preparing immediately. Ukraine, already at war with Russia, has shown how drones can be deadly weapons—their drones are responsible for 80% of Russian losses on the front lines!

Ukraine plans to produce over four million drones this year. To keep up, countries like Lithuania, which shares about 1,000 km of border with Russia and Belarus, would need around three million drones annually in case of war. German startups are already testing new types of drones—from floating munitions to interceptors that can detect enemy drones up to 5 kilometers away.
