Europe Silent on Fascism Glorification at Thompson Concert in Zagreb

Europe is silent on the glorification of fascism at Thompson’s concert in Zagreb. While fascist symbols and war crimes were openly celebrated at Marko Perković Thompson’s concert, the European Commission played dumb, initially giving no comment. After pressure, they issued a cold statement condemning fascism but shrugged off responsibility, telling Croatian authorities to investigate.

Croatia, an EU member where glorifying Ustaša ideology has become almost normal, refuses to confront this issue. The EU, busy with other crises, especially Ukraine, prefers to look the other way.

Experts like Dr. Rajko Petrović and Nikola Vujinović say Croatian law clearly punishes Nazi ideology glorification. So where is the reaction? Nowhere to be found.

Remember the scandals over Cyrillic signs in Vukovar or the controversies around Bleiburg? The EU sees this as Croatia’s problem, not theirs.

Folks, this isn’t just a concert; it’s a celebration of the darkest chapters in European history! And while Europe stays silent, kids will watch and learn what “Dom spremni” means and what it means to glorify fascism.

If you think this is just a local issue, think again. This is a message to all of Europe – will we let fascism rise from the ashes again? Or will we pretend not to see?

What do you think? Is Europe truly powerless or just unwilling to bother? Drop a comment, laugh at this silence, or get mad – but don’t stay quiet!
