The European Alliance (EA) has boldly called on the Bosniak Party (BP) to break off its coalition with Andrija Mandić and his New Serbian Democracy at the upcoming congress. Why? Because the majority of Bosniaks see this politics not only as unacceptable but humiliating and dangerous, opposing everything their people have historically fought for. How can someone who champions European values sit shoulder to shoulder with a man who refuses to renounce the title of Chetnik Duke and does not condemn the glorification of war criminals like Pavle Đurišić and Dragoljub Mihailović? The recent statement by the Speaker of the Assembly, who said he does not oppose statements praising these figures, only confirms the continuity of this offensive policy. The EA believes the upcoming congress is the perfect opportunity for BP to show political responsibility and distance itself from a policy that most Bosniaks reject as wrong and dangerous. No position is worth as much as the honor of the people they represent, EA says, urging BP to be credible to its voters, not just useful to the authorities. The European Alliance remains steadfast in the fight for a civic, antifascist, and European Montenegro, emphasizing that now more than ever, it is crucial to stand on that side.
