The Exit Festival in Novi Sad is finally here, and with it comes total traffic chaos that will make you rethink your plans! From July 10 to 14, parts of the city will be completely blocked off, and buses will run on altered routes that will surely make you curse a little. JGSP Novi Sad announced that lines 3 and 9 will have increased capacity and extra departures, but traffic in Petrovaradin, on the Varadin Bridge, and Beogradska Street will be suspended. Forget your usual rides – it’s time for improvisation and patience.
For those planning to use public transport, get ready for articulated buses marked with “Exit fest” signs. Lines 3, 3a, 9, 9a, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, and 69 will have temporary route changes and will use new stops on Reljkovićeva and Preradovićeva streets. Think that’s all? Think again – extra departures will start as early as 3:30 AM, because the festival never sleeps, and neither do the crowds.
A huge influx of visitors is expected, and JGSP Novi Sad is ready to handle the pressure, but are you? If you plan to travel during these days, better have a solid plan B or arm yourself with patience and humor. Because if you haven’t been to Exit, you don’t know what Novi Sad traffic chaos really means. Got a favorite detour route yet?
As the city prepares for the biggest music spectacle of the year, traffic madness is inevitable. So, if you have a hilarious story or a survival tip for these changes, feel free to share in the comments – maybe your trick will save someone from a nervous breakdown!
