First International Planning Meeting for Expo Belgrade 2027 Specialized Exhibition

The first international planning meeting for participation in the specialized Expo 2027 exhibition was held in Belgrade, marking the largest diplomatic gathering in Serbia. Over 400 delegates from more than 100 countries attended, demonstrating significant global interest. Finance Minister Siniša Mali emphasized Expo as the greatest development opportunity for Serbia and the region, highlighting the country’s economic stability and growth. The Secretary-General of the International Bureau of Exhibitions, Dimitri Kerkentzes, described the event as the beginning of a new chapter for Serbia and Southeast Europe. The Expo theme is “Play Humanity, Music, Sport,” and it is scheduled to last 93 days from May to August 2027. Belgrade will host the first specialized Expo in the Western Balkans, a major international event with great potential for infrastructure, tourism, and economic development.
