THE EXTRADITION THAT SHOOK THE REGION!
Today in Podgorica, Montenegrin citizen N.B. (53) was extradited from Spain on serious charges of unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of narcotics! Yes, you read that right – drugs! Interpol Podgorica didn’t waste a second, issued an international warrant, and successfully brought this man to justice.
This is not just another routine transfer of a suspect. It’s a clear message that Montenegro and its institutions are not backing down in the fight against crime, especially drug-related crime. Officers from the crime-fighting sector and NCB Interpol Podgorica continue intense international cooperation, locating and arresting internationally wanted persons.
Just imagine the amount of effort and coordination needed to pull this off! Extradition from Spain is no small feat, and this case shows that Montenegro has the capacity to tackle serious criminal networks.
What’s particularly interesting is that N.B. was immediately handed over to the Higher Court in Podgorica, where he will face justice. Will this be the beginning of the end for yet another criminal group? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain – justice never sleeps!
