Fake Bomb Threat at Kosovo Assembly: Hybrid Attack or Just Another Provocation?

Looks like the Kosovo Assembly is under attack again — but not by real bombers, rather by fake bomb threats coming from phone numbers registered in Serbia! Dželjalj Svećlja, acting investigator of Kosovo’s internal affairs, revealed that the number used to send the bomb threat is linked to MTS Telekom Serbia, and the user of that number is Lazar Živković, a Serbian citizen. To make things even weirder, profiles connected to that number were found glorifying war criminal Ratko Mladić.

Of course, the fake threat was immediately labeled a “hybrid attack” on Kosovo’s institutions, and according to Svećlja, it originates from Serbia. Prosecutor Zejnulah Gaši confirmed the threat was false and that a cyber investigation is underway, but the big question remains — who is sending these threats and why? The anonymous caller spoke English with an accent linked by the prosecutor to a “hostile state,” though he didn’t specify which one.

This isn’t just a security issue; it’s a political bombshell casting a shadow over Kosovo-Serbia relations. Is this just another attempt to destabilize the region or something way more serious? While authorities investigate, citizens are left confused and worried.

If you think this is just another boring political game, think again. Fake bomb threats cause panic, waste resources, and erode trust in institutions — all while real problems get swept under the rug.

So, what do you think? Just a harmless provocation or a serious hybrid war? Drop a comment, maybe together we’ll uncover who’s really behind this madness!
