Why Fake Dairy Products Are a Real Threat to Your Health

Fake Dairy Products: The Monstrous Scam on Store Shelves!

Did you know that what you often buy as cheese, sour cream, or dairy spread is not actually a dairy product? Nutritionist Branka Mirković reveals that dairy product substitutes have become a real epidemic in stores, bakeries, restaurants, and even kindergartens. And this is not just a small scam – it’s a monstrous substitution that can seriously harm your health!

What are fake dairy products?

These products look, smell, and taste like real dairy products but are made from vegetable fats, starch, soy, chemical flavors, colors, and preservatives. Essentially, you are eating something closer to margarine than real milk. Imagine eating cheese that is actually just cheap vegetable fat with a bunch of additives – that’s what they’re selling you!

Where does this scam hide?

Expensive cheeses like mozzarella, parmesan, kashkaval, and trapist are most often counterfeited. These substitutes easily get into ready-made products, and bakeries, pizzerias, and restaurants often use these cheap substitutes without telling you what you’re eating. Customers are completely in the dark, and producers profit from your ignorance.

Why are they dangerous?

Vegetable fats and starch are not only poor in nutritional value but can also have harmful effects on health. Additives like emulsifiers and flavor enhancers can cause allergies and other health issues. Worst of all, packaging often highlights that the product contains vitamins, which is just a marketing trick to fool you.

A new regulation changes the game

Starting this August, a new regulation will force producers to physically separate fake dairy products from real ones on shelves and clearly display warnings. This will apply not only to stores but also to bakeries, restaurants, and food delivery services. Finally, you will be able to know what you’re eating and make an informed choice.

Take control of your health!

Branka Mirković advises reading labels carefully and choosing real food, not copies. Don’t let yourself be fooled! Your health is in your hands.

Have you encountered these fake products? What do you think about the new regulation? Share your experience or drop a cheesy joke in the comments – maybe we all need a laugh while fighting this dairy mafia!
