The series follows Isla Gordon, who becomes the president of the basketball club Los Angeles Waves. It was created by Mindy Kaling, known for series such as The Office and The Mindy Project. The premiere is scheduled for February 27, and the initial audience impressions are positive, comparing the series to Ted Lasso.
