A group of agents and employees at the FBI has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice to prevent President Donald Trump and his allies from releasing a list of names of employees who worked on cases related to the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack. The lawsuit claims that releasing the list could put those individuals and their families at risk of retaliation. The lawsuit was filed before the deadline set by Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove, who has already dismissed several senior officials.
