Slovak PM denies informal meeting with Czech PM, calls it false.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico denied claims of an informal meeting with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, emphasizing that the encounter in Brussels was merely a handshake. Fico criticized Czech politicians for allegedly interfering in Slovak affairs, which Fiala and the Czech Foreign Minister condemned, stressing that the Czech Republic does not influence Slovak internal matters. Fiala stated that it is the Czech Republic’s duty to respond to actions that harm its interests, such as Fico’s visit to Moscow and meeting with Russian officials.
