Filmograf is Back!
After more than 20 years of silence, the cult magazine dedicated to Serbian cinematography, Filmograf, is finally revived! Yes, you read that right – the Serbian film scene is getting its voice back in print, with plans to publish three times a year.
Why does this matter?
In a world where film magazines are slowly disappearing from newsstands and going digital, Filmograf is doing the opposite – returning to paper! Ivan Karl, director of the Serbian Film Center, clearly stated that it’s important to have a written record of national cinematography. Without it, how will we know who we are and what we have created?

The first issue focuses on minority co-productions, a topic increasingly relevant in the film industry. The editor of the first issue is Nenad Dukić, and the magazine will be published in Latin and Cyrillic scripts, in Serbian and English – get ready for a real film treat!

Filmograf is a joint project of the Serbian Film Center and the Association of Serbian Film Artists. This collaboration guarantees the magazine will be serious yet accessible, aiming to promote and preserve Serbian film heritage.
