Cinematic Chase in Belgrade: Opel Thief Goes Wild, Hits Cops and Flees Like Crazy!

A Cinematic Chase in Belgrade That Shocked Everyone!

Imagine a scene straight out of an action movie, but not on the screen — on the streets of Belgrade! Last night, a man named A.S. (34) caused chaos in a stolen Opel like you rarely see. It all started when the police tried to stop him in Rakovica, but he refused to pull over. Instead, he went on a wild chase, crashing into everything in his path.

Crashes, Hits, and Chaos on the Streets

First, he hit several parked cars, then crashed into a car driven by a young woman. She was rushed to the emergency center but thankfully is not in life-threatening condition. As if that wasn’t enough, the Opel driver reversed and ran over a policeman’s foot, then crashed into an official police intervention vehicle.

Drugs, Theft, and Police Detention

Police found drugs in the car, which were sent for testing. It was also determined that the Opel was most likely stolen. The driver was given 48 hours of police detention, while the passenger M.V. (49) received a misdemeanor ticket. The relevant prosecutor was informed about the incident.

Quick Police Reaction Prevented Even Worse Chaos

Intervention police officers acted fast and pulled the driver out of the car, preventing potentially worse consequences. Still, the question remains: how is it possible for someone to wildly drive through Belgrade’s streets in a stolen car, endangering the lives of others?

What’s Going On With Street Safety?

This incident casts a shadow over safety in our city. Is this just the tip of the iceberg? How many more such drivers are out there? And why are these things happening right now, in the heart of Belgrade?

If you have your own take or maybe witnessed this crazy chase, drop a comment below. Is this just bad luck or a sign we desperately need tougher street control? Don’t stay silent, share your thoughts — maybe your story will spark change!
