🔥 Fires in Mionica are not just any flames – they are a full-blown drama that set six villages and residents’ nerves on fire! While firefighters and local teams rushed to extinguish the blaze, a fierce storm wind wreaked havoc, and the fire threatened to consume everything in its path. In the village of Ključ, the fire even engulfed an abandoned house and threatened to spread to nearby homes. Quick action by firefighters prevented a disaster, but the terrain in Planinica is so inaccessible that heavy machinery had to be brought in to clear the way for fire trucks.
🚒 Five fire trucks and two water tankers battled the fiery beast, while Mionica’s mayor, Boban Janković, calmed nerves by stating the situation is stable and there’s no need to panic. Still, an emergency situation headquarters meeting is scheduled to adopt further necessary measures, because nature doesn’t forgive, and the fires broke out amid a stormy wind between 11 and 12 o’clock.
🌪️ This situation shines a harsh light on the serious problem of forest fires in Serbia, where inaccessible terrain and extreme weather create hell for firefighters and locals alike. Is this just the start of the inferno, or will we finally realize it’s time for serious measures to protect nature and people? While we wait for answers, residents and firefighters continue their fight against a fire that chooses no victims.
💬 What about you? Do you think the state is ready enough for such disasters, or will we watch again as fire devours our homes? Drop a comment, share your thoughts, and let’s light up the discussion – but not the forest!
