By June 29, things calmed down a bit, but fires were still burning in the Todorići and Gorica neighborhoods. Quick action by firefighters put out the fire in Gorica, while a bigger blaze in Todorići and Pridvorci was contained but not extinguished. Fire crews are still on high alert to stop the flames from flaring up again. Authorities are warning everyone not to light fires outside due to the high risk of new outbreaks. Summer is bringing fiery trouble to this part of Herzegovina, and the fight against the flames is far from over.
