In Zagreb, the Window of Life has been opened, a place where mothers can anonymously leave unwanted children. The window is part of the Convent of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Trešnjevka. When a child is placed in the window, an alarm is activated to notify the nuns and the president of the Betlehem Zagreb association, Alberta Vrdoljak.
