At the Zagreb animal shelter Dumovec, a touching story unfolds about two little heroines – sisters Gama and Beta, American Staffordshire Terriers, who had a rough start in life. Found undernourished, covered in wounds, and in poor condition, these five-month-old pups are now looking for their forever homes. Gama, the darker sister with a blue collar, has shown incredible strength and a gentle nature despite her tough health battles. Her skin is sensitive and sometimes flakes, but with proper care, she can be the perfect family dog – active yet balanced, ready for cooperation and love. Beta, the lighter sister with a purple collar, is a bundle of energy, demanding and stubborn, seeking an experienced owner who can set clear rules and boundaries. These sisters are not for everyone but are excellent with children, other dogs, and cats, and with time and effort, can become loyal and stable companions. Both are vaccinated, dewormed, and will soon be sterilized, with adoption in accordance with the law on dangerous dogs. Currently, they are housed in a temporary shelter in Popovača, where you can meet them. If you are ready to give them the home and love they deserve, contact the shelter at udomljavanje@dumovec.hr. These little fighters prove that even from the toughest beginnings, a bright future can emerge, but only if we give them a chance. So, are you ready to be that chance? Share your thoughts, maybe your story will inspire someone else to open their home to these brave sisters!
