Fuel Prices in Montenegro Soar Due to Middle East Tensions – Brace Your Wallets!

Attention all drivers and fuel lovers! Starting today, fuel prices in Montenegro have jumped by 2 to 8 cents per liter. Euro Super 98 went up by 3 cents to 1.49 euros per liter, Euro Super 95 increased by 2 cents to 1.45 euros, and diesel saw the biggest jump — a whopping 8 cents, now at 1.38 euros per liter. Even heating oil didn’t escape the hike, rising 7 cents to 1.31 euros.

Why the sudden spike? Blame the Middle East tensions! The ongoing conflicts between Iran and Israel have pushed global oil prices up, and guess who pays the price? Yep, us at the pump. But don’t panic just yet — Montenegro’s Ministry of Energy and Mining assures that fuel supply chains are running smoothly with no interruptions.

This whole mess just proves how crucial it is for Montenegro to finally set up strategic reserves of oil products. That way, when the world goes crazy, we don’t have to feel the pinch so hard. The next price review is scheduled for July 16, so buckle up for more surprises.

So, if you thought summer would be cheap, think again! Get ready for pricier rides, fewer coffee stops at the gas station, and a lighter wallet. And hey, if you’ve got a funny joke about fuel prices, don’t keep it to yourself — we could all use a laugh while our pockets get emptier!
