Fragile truce in Gaza: people return, destruction everywhere.

A fragile truce between Israel and Hamas came into effect on January 19, allowing for a ceasefire and the return of aid to the devastated Gaza. Displaced Palestinians have begun returning to their homes. Footage from Gaza shows massive destruction after the 15-month war. Humanitarian agencies warn that rebuilding the infrastructure will take years. More than 45,000 Palestinians have been killed, and over 100,000 injured since the conflict began. Approximately 1.9 million people in Gaza have been displaced.
